- Understand customer requirements and application needs for packaging solutions (VFFS, HFFS, pouch, etc.)
- Prepare concept designs, GA drawings/Layouts, and technical specifications for costing and techno-commercial offers.
- Client Interaction, Pre-Sales Engineering, Vendor Coordination, Cost Optimization
- Support sales team in client meetings, presentations, and Layouts.
- Customized solutions and layouts based on client needs.
- Coordinate with design, production, and project teams for feasibility and order handover.
- Conduct technical discussions, presentations, and clarifications with customers
- Ensure solutions are cost-effective, feasible, and aligned with company standards
- Handle RFQs, technical documentation, and compliance.
- Problem-solving and customer-focused approach.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of packaging machines/EOL and processes
- Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD/SolidWorks)
- ERP, MS Office Suite.
- Plant Layout Design, Packaging Machinery, RFQ Preparation, Technical Documentation.
- Good understanding of mechanical design and material handling systems
- Techno-commercial acumen and customer-facing skills
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience preferably in packaging machinery / SPM /automation industry
- Experience in pre-sales, application engineering, or design engineering preferred.
