Our History

1997

Rovema India was incorporated as Hassia Redatron Packaging Machinery Pvt. Ltd.

1999

Developed the prototype of the Vertical Form Fill and Seal machine.

2000

Produced India’s first fully automatic milk powder packaging solution.

2001

Installed the first pesticide packaging machine for water-soluble foil.

2007

Oystar, a German conglomerate, acquired Hassia globally.

2015

IMA, an Italian packaging machine producer, acquired Oystar.

2021

ROVEMA, based in Germany, acquired Hassia Packaging, forming ROVEMA India.

2023

Production of ROVEMA’s flagship model, VPK 260, began in India, undoubtedly the most sold VFFS machine in the world.

2024

Received patents for the Innovative Auger Filler and Granular Material Weighing Apparatus from the Government of India, addressing sealing and weighing challenges.
